Beat This, is a BBC documentary film about hip-hop culture, directed by Dick Fontaine. The cast includes Afrika Bambaataa, DJ Kool Herc — the film includes footage from Herc’s original dance parties — The Cold Crush Brothers, Jazzy Jay, Brim Fuentes, and The Dynamic Rockers. It is narrated by Imhotep Gary Byrd. Originally part of the Arena television series, it was among the first crop of documentaries about Hip-Hop.

The “ABF Voices of” Program is a project of the Andrea Bocelli Foundation, which has been launched in Palestine (both in Jerusalem and Bethlehem) in 2023 and has been operational since then, encompassing 60 children and 10 staff members. The project's aim is to empower communities and culture, therefore, it is a long term project.

يجمع العرض الأخير من برنامج العتبة “نبض مكسر” ستة موسيقيين، لكل منهم أسلوب وخلفية مميزة، ليستكشفوا بشكل جماعي أسئلتهم الخاصة حول الصمودالثقافي. ألف كل موسيقي مقطوعته الخاصة وعملوا سويا حتى يخلقوا من أسلوب تأليفهم، وعرضهم، وصيرورتهم الفنية عرضا موحدا.

سيذهب جزء من عائدات هذه العروض لدعم فنانين في غزة.

The last show for Gradus “Fractured Pulse” brings together six musicians, each with a distinctive style and background, to collectively explore their own questions about cultural resilience. Each musician composed his own track and worked together to create their composition style, presentation, and artwork into a single show.

A portion of the proceeds from this performance will support artists in Gaza.

The Gradus initiative, led by Dina Shilleh, is dedicated to creating new musical compositions, fostering artistic collaboration among musicians, and raising awareness of diverse musical forms. This performance is part of the Gradus program for this year, in partnership with the Khalil Sakakini Cultural Center, and is funded by the Arab Fund for Economic and Social Development.
