فرح النابلسي هي مخرجة فلسطينية-بريطانية مرشّحة لجائزة الأوسكار® وحائزة على جائزة البافتا®. منذ عام ٢٠١٦ تعمل على كتابة وإنتاج أفلام روائية مستوحاة من قضايا اجتماعية راهنة. حاز فيلمها القصير الأول Today They Took My Son على دعم المخرج البريطاني كين لوتش، وعُرض في الأمم المتحدة. أما فيلمها The Present، الذي شكّل أول تجربة إخراجية لها وشاركت في كتابته وإنتاجه، فقد عُرض لأول مرة في مهرجان كليرمون-فيرّان الدولي للأفلام القصيرة عام ٢٠٢٠ وفاز بجائزة الجمهور لأفضل فيلم، ثم حصد أكثر من ٦٠ جائزة من لجان التحكيم والجمهور في مهرجانات دولية، إلى جانب جائزة البافتا®، وترشيح لجائزة الأوسكار®. كما تم توزيعه عالميًا عبر منصات منها Canal+ وNetflix

A Palestinian school teacher struggles to reconcile his risky commitment to political resistance with his emotional support for one of his students and the chance of a new relationship with a volunteer worker.
Farah is an Academy Award®-Nominated and BAFTA®-Winning Palestinian-British filmmaker. Since 2016, she has been writing and producing fiction narrative films inspired by socially relevant themes. Her first short film, Today They Took My Son, was endorsed by British director Ken Loach and screened at the United Nations. The Present, her directorial debut, which she also co-wrote and produced, premiered at Clermont-Ferrand International Short Film Festival in 2020 and won the coveted Audience Award for Best Film. It went on to win over 60 International Film Festival Jury and Audience Awards, a BAFTA® award, and it received an Oscar® nomination. The Present was licensed internationally including to Canal+ and Netflix Worldwide.
The Teacher, Farah's directorial feature-length debut, had its World Premiere at the 2023 Toronto International Film Festival. It had its MENA Premiere at the Red Sea International Film Festival in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, where it took home the Best Actor award and the main Jury Prize (the jury was headed by director Baz Lurhmann). The film stars renowned Palestinian actor Saleh Bakri and British actress Imogen Poots and has won over 18 International Film Festival Awards. The Teacher was also BAFTA®-Longlisted for Outstanding Debut (2024) and BIFA-Longlisted in 3 categories (2023).

The inauguration of Wonder Cabinet’s permanent exhibition bringing together sculptural and art works produced over the years by resident and visiting artists across the building and its garden. The exhibition tour manifests moments activating the artwork through sound and collective observations.

انضموا إلينا في بيت لحم لافتتاح معرضنا الدائم، وبمشاركة عدد من الفنانين والطهاة المقيمين، والموسيقيين في برنامج احتفالي مشترك مع راديو الحارة. و من خلال أنشطة جماعية، جداريات فنية، وورشات عمل تزامنناً مع افتتاح ورش النجارة والحدادة الجديدة.

Gentle Morning Yoga Class
With Eilda Zagmouth
A community favourite since the Wonder Cabinet opening in May 2023, Eilda Zagmouth will lead a special gentle yoga class for participants of all ages and levels to enjoy a shared moment of breathing, movement, and ease.

We recommend a light start of the day before the class, and to enjoy breakfast at Beesh following the session.

منذ افتتاح مجلس العجب في مايو ٢٠٢٣، أصبحت حصص إيلدا زغموت من الأنشطة المفضلة لدى المجتمع. في هذه الجلسة الخاصة، ستقود إيلدا حصة يوغا هادئة ومناسبة لجميع الأعمار والمستويات، تتيح للمشاركين مشاركة لحظة من التنفّس والحركة والسكينة.
